These terrorists have family... find them, I'm sure they know this was being planned.

This is a sad day for everyone. You have to wonder why online and phone communications were not monitored properly so that this disaster could have been snuffed out before it happened. And where were the police in to stop the violence before it exploded??

Dunno about other places but here in Gopherland you cannot enter a stadium without first going through a metal detector. Why this is not used in Paris is beyond all reason.

The execution of a man at a hospital in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron early Thursday has generated shock even among Palestinians familiar with Israel’s brutality.

But downtown outside a restaurant? When you go into an Outback, do you get scanned? Walking down the street?

Obviously the french intelligence on this was lacking. The key to monitoring phone conversations is to monitor the correct ones.

Some restaurants here, esp large taverns, do scan people for weapons before allowing entrance into the premises. But stadiums scan everyone.

Remember those stories of ISIS using Gopherland as their principle recruiting area. We have had news reports of terrorist attacks preempted due to proper monitoring of communications. Sadly, the French failed to do the same.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh..... so this attack was the French's fault. Got ya. I suppose when a woman get's raped, that's her fault too. Or a bank get's robbed. Or a shop owner is shot, all their fault.

No, I'm not blaming them, for goodness sake. Just agreeing with Skiier that more precautions should have been taken.

As for that soccer game,

French President Hollande declared a state of emergency and took the unprecedented step of closing all borders late Friday after gunmen opened fire at multiple locations. Explosives were set off at the Stade de France, the national stadium, where Germany and France were holding a friendly soccer match with Hollande in attendance before he was whisked away. At least one of the explosions at the stadium was believed to have been caused by a suicide bomber.

Scores killed in Paris terror attacks at six separate sites

This was also reported by local media.

The French are imperialists.
