"Going Viral" is the first one that comes to mind since I keep hearing it in the news ....just now .....again re: youtube videos...

An old one that I remember from morning production meetings was "Going forward", which one morning, was used 15 times, I know because the only interesting thing about those meetings, was the log I kept of those "Buzz words" and frequency of use,,

Are there any terms that bug you with their overuse?????
"Going forward" beats them all, in my opinion. Drives me nuts. Don’t recall hearing this before the past few years.
I’m tired of Troll', ‘Trolling’. As far as ‘like’ I don’t even ‘hear’, (‘read’) it anymore.

Northern Ontario,
"At the end of the day" Was one superintendent favorite phrase...
The day after a crew safety meeting at wich the super spoke, and had repeated that phrase 5 times which I duly noted, he was in my "shack" for coffee....I had to go outside to make some changes on the control panel...he stayed inside and happened to read my notes of the meeting.....(How many times someone had repeated a certain phrase...my favorite pastime;-))
When I got back in the booth He asked jokingly of course if I was so secure in my job that I could write down such wise a-ss comments about my superiors??
I replied that in 37 years on the job I had gone through 6 or 7 supers and only 2 had moved up to a higher position in the company....the rest had moved on somewheres else and I was still here...no worries
I kinda liked that super......he had a sense of humour.....and he came for coffee pretty regular:lol:
