Ontario church website hacked with ISIS message

Police in Barrie, Ont., are investigating after a local church’s website was hacked by someone proclaiming support for the Islamic State terror group and calling for the elimination of America.

Someone posted what appears to be the ISIS logo and wrote “I love you ISIS” on the Inniswood Baptist Church website Monday afternoon.

A long, difficult-to-decipher message calling for the destruction of America was also posted on the site, along with images of fighter jets and bloody victims of attacks.

It’s not known how long those messages and pictures remained on the church’s website, but the page was restored back to normal by late Monday afternoon.

When contacted by CTV Barrie, a church representative said they were unaware of the hack. Barrie Police said they’ve received a complaint about the incident and are now investigating.

Pro-ISIS messages also turned up two weeks ago on the University of New Brunswick student union site.

Considering how it had the words "I love you ISIS" at the end of it, I imagine it's an idiotic teen or kid thinking that they're being funny. I wonder how funny they would think they are if they got sent over there to see how it really is.

At least they didn't take Jesus off the cross and caver Him with a white shroud, that would have been real embarrassing for the Church in the , 'Oh, yeah, knew I forgot something.' dept.

I'm pretty sure if bodies are stacked like cordwood then the persecution has began in earnest. Gulf I and II limited reporters jusy so the public didn't get a close look at what war is like.

yes that was the line that stood out for me too, it immediately triggered a youth in my mind, it is completely unsophisticated and love is not a word that I believe would appear in an ISIS threat
