I have long held the view that America needed to have Japan attack to
get past the isolationists in America and the people did not want to go
back to Europe either so Japan attacking was the key how it happened
does not matter if the President told someone it was for a reason to get
the Japanese to attack so be it

I guess that we all owe poor little Japan a big, fat surrender, just to be fair. Think of all of the Micronesians and Southeast Asians who must really miss the Japanese and who pray every night for their return. I know that the Chinese sure miss them.
