The Obama presidency is one of terrible clarity. It is now clear that some Americans are Class Enemies of other Americans. The spread of this idea can't be stopped now. In fact class divisions are now converging with racial divisions to produce a level of toxicity to American politics that hasn't been seen before in Class terms.

I class him as an undistinguished mediocrity in a string of mediocrities that have inhabited the Oval Office WITHOUT exception and of both Parties.. since Richard Nixon. I could go farther back than that to Lyndon Johnson.. but at least Johnson was the LAST American President who had a clue as to how economies really work. There has been no substantial deviation from the policies of Global Free Markets, Imperial ambition & coersion and cultural decline in that period.. they're all the same.

Really it will be a mixture of both, but the mess he took over is staggering.
In some cases he made it worse but overall he put america back on the
path of thinking again. Medicare will prove to be a good start and it will be
improved over time.
As for job numbers? Ronnie started it and W and even Bill Clinton played
a role in destroying jobs in America. For investors they promoted the Free
Trade nonsense and we all followed the race to the bottom and by the time
Obama got there the jobs were gone and the economy was back in the hands
of the old rich guys from Augusta.
Its time the middle class took their country back.

Is the president really supposed to create jobs? In a proud self-declared free-market capitalist economy, with a congress that opposes all public spending and a senate set against all tax reform and state governments that kneecap 2 unions before embezzling the stimulus money and putting an 800 lb Jesus on display in the rotunda? Is the president really supposed to, single-handedly, fix everything that's been going horribly wrong for 400 years?

Well, another one has failed.

Obama legacy:highest corporate profits in history
Great for guys like me who have a stock portfolio but not so great for the future since there ain't no jobs being created for the young folk. All BHO has given young people is debt...(oh, and a phone).

Wall Street is doing very well under Obama. Main Street is not doing well. The working class is experiencing major trauma to its hopes, dreams, and living standards. No one in the Obama administration cares about the working class.

Now that we're well over half of the way through the Bamster's Presidency, let's list what he will be remembered for. I'll Start.

1) Poor employment numbers.

2) First "black" president.

How about 3) mixed legacy?

Really it will be a mixture of both, but the mess he took over is staggering.

How did free trade kill the jobs? If that's true, then I propose the Province of Ontario introce a few protectionsist measures of tis own like recognizing only Ontario certification for trades and professions. Maybe the city of Ottawa could explore some kind of protectionism too. before you know it, we'd all have jobs according to that theory.

How much control does a president have over unemployment? The rights great god Ronald Reagan was president over a 60 month unemployment rate of 7%. So many businesses have take the jobs to other countries so they can pay less in wages to make the same or more money on the product. That was encouraged by Both Bush's. How many republicans would favor taxing the crap out of those products made and imported by those same traitorous company owners?

And just where exactly did Obama get his winning votes - twice?
