The nice thing is that under your theory all a body needs to do to prove he's a man is dump his used motor oil in the river.

Useta be harder.

why would you do that? I know places that pay $$$$$ for used oil.

DG... are you really going to give the GOP advice when you pretty much fall on your face every time when it comes to US politics?

To win a solid majority the party does need to distance itself from the the teaparty types.

Obama can make his claims and if China jumps on board they will continue after
he leaves office. So many assume the Republicans will gain the Presidential
Office. That is by no means certain. Urban areas of high population may well
support Democrats this is not a mid term its a Presidential year totally different
election. The more conservative areas of the country have less people living in
them. I don't think Ms Clinton will be the Candidate either her time is gone in the
view of many who they pick will determine the winner of course.
I think when the fever pitch of vocal criticism is alive its usually a vocal minority
that is why people keep wondering how did they get elected? The answer it
there were more people in favor of what they are doing than against.
if Republicans want to win they need to change some things.

1 They need to be smarter make their plan fit with the desires of Americans
minorities and middle class voters
2 They need to persuade the radical religious voices to be silent

3 They need to pull away from vested religious and economic groups holding them
back like tea party and the evangelicals

How likely is that To be more in tune with minorities and middle class they have to
become Democrats they have that territory
They can't shut the crazies up they have the monopoly on nonsense
And worse the vested interested big business and religion are nearly a third of the
membership and those loud voices make it tough going for mainstream conservatives.

Republicans have to be smarter not louder.

As for the environment they are going to make gains they've convinced
Americans the direction is one that is needed. I don't agree but it is a
winning program the young people are believers in the policy and they
will support it
So says the boards closet conservative !
