The fact that we continue to discuss this thing means that it has traction.

You can basically write off Canada ever getting back to center in the next 10 years.

And that makes Johnny a happy boy. :D

It will make the Liberals happy.
Maybe the new NDP leader can get a seat beside Elizabeth May, that way he/she wont be lonely.

The party that became a party has reverted to the ranks of a movement of idiots
makes defending them impossible at the federal level and if the Provincial wings
of stupidity follow they will disappear from mother earth they are professing to
protect. Its a case of lemmings hurling themselves over the political cliff into the sea

There won't be minority governments. Your friends in Orange places are on the verge of committing political suicide.

The NDP committing political suicide?

Hardly.

The whole political landscape has shifted left, so all federal parties that are not Liberals are looking for a way to foster a unique base.

If anything, the PCs are at risk of having a bigger division on things like deficits and carbon pricing.

They can't pander to the same base they've always had because that won't be more than 35-38% of voters.

voting bases and tendencies shift one way or the other quickly, frequently and with little notice. Being too far from the centre always puts one at risk of being too far away from the base to be able to make little tweaks to attract more voters in a given campaign.

And it Canada was truly that far left, Elizabeth May would have some company the house.

Liberals currently hold a majority in parliament with 38% of the vote .
