I think the bear was just incensed. I mean, when something is stewing in the pot, it should be dead, no? Either that, or he was concerned for the man's health. Probably thought the man was over done and was trying to knock some sense into his noggin.

It's really sad that the bear was the loser here..

It just smacked the guy.. seeing if he was dead already, and easy meal.. I think if it was any real danger, it would have continued to attack the man.. it retreated.. it was just curious as to the man..

People are ever increasingly pushing their way into the bear habitat and unfortunately the bears pay with their life.
