North Vancouver road rage caught on video

A video posted on YouTube seems to show two men throwing punches at each other during a road rage incident in North Vancouver.

ROAD RAGE VANCOUVER! - YouTube

The video shows an altercation between a young man in a red T-shirt and an older man sporting a black hoodie on Main Street, north of the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge.

According to the caption posted with the video, the incident erupted after a near miss, in which the younger man almost crashed into the back of the older driver's car, after repeatedly weaving in and out of traffic.

Police say they have received no complaints and are not investigating the incident.

Tips for avoiding road rage

  • Avoid eye contact with aggressor.
  • Stay in your vehicle.
  • Leave space to drive away.
  • Don't confront anyone.
  • If you're followed, go to police. Never go home.
  • If someone is being threatening, call 911.
  • If you make a mistake, gesture to others to apologize.

In the mean time one of the morons could be bleeding out the ear, gets back in his car, proceeds to wipe out a school bus of kids because he had an aneurism from a concussion.

At least get out to see if everyone is okay.

Because as hubby puts it, it screws with your work schedule as soon as the courts label you 'the witness'.
Court wouldn't be until fall or winter. Court is at 9:30 or 1:30. That can mean either afternoon ice fishing or early morning hunting, getting paid by courts rather than taking time off. If planned right it can mean extra long weekends as far as rotations go.

There was this psycho driver that I ran across a few times in Coquitlam about 15 years ago, he used to intentionally cut off other drivers, tailgate at ridiculously close range and run red lights. The last time I saw him he was in stopped at a red light having a fist fight with one of the drivers he'd pissed off.

Some people shouldn't be on the highway, reporting dangerous drivers is a good idea, the police and courts do try and keep the complete nutjobs off the roads.
