RE: Nice American Article

It would appear that you don't think at all, tibear. If a dental problem is severe enough, it is covered under medicare. So is cataract surgery and treatment for glaucoma.

Would I like to see that expanded? You bet. We have to solve the problems we have now before we can do that though.

You are trying to twist words from what is essentially a different conversation to prove a point here. Quit it.

RB,

Your logic completely baffles me. How is talking about the fact that the poor can't afford proper dental or eye coverage not in keeping with the two-tiered health care discussion?? You don't think that a child who has vision so bad they can't see anything anything beyond a foot in front of them is something to concern ourselves about?

How is bringing up Sweden's conversion of thier public system to public/private health care not fit into this discussion?

RB,

So what do you see the debate to be about in this thread, if it isn't about providing a better health care system for all Canadians??

RB,

Nice debating skills. What song are you singing as you jump up and down with your fingers in your ears??

A little something by the Electric Chairs. It's from an album called Blatantly Offensive, so I can't really post the lyrics or even the song title.
