NFL Conference Championship games

Each team alters the balls to the liking of their QB including the Patriots. This incudes the finish and probably the inflation. However, these teams have kept the alterations within the legal limits of the alteration of the ball. The fact is the Patriots altered 11/12 balls on the Championship game and now I am reading that they have done the same on a game against Indy in November. Cheaters cheat. Sometimes that is partly why they win.

The NFL has really stupid rules like teams provide their own balls. So it seems like they have some blame for not properly securing the process.

Nay nay nay... Aaron Rogers just said he OVER INFLATES them.

The Bucs QB paid a guy to get a hold of the new balls to scuff them up before they hit the field on Super Bowl Sunday.

The Referees handle the footballs before and after each play.

The Patriots scored 28 unanswered points in the 2nd Half with different balls.

Haters gotta hate.

I listened to former Vikings QB Fran Tarkenton on CNN this morning saying that the deflated balls were a trivial distraction from the real cheating scandal in NFL which is the virtually unrestricted use of Performance Enhancing Drugs in the sport. The use steroids, HGH, EPO, amphetamines is epidemic. No team can win a Super Bowl without them.

Baddabing.

Take away the roids and PEDs and that would be that. That is bringing down the house on everybody's head.

And the refs have discovered that 11 of the 12 balls the New England Patriots provided for their offence were under-inflated. Illegal. If Rogers admitted to over-inflating over the league maximum, then perhaps the Packers shoud lose some draft picks too.

The Bucs QB is an idiot since scuffing is not illegal. Many teams do put custom finishes and logos on their balls.

This is the 2nd time the Patriots have been caught cheating. One wonders how may other things they are cheating at and how much of their 'success' is due to that cheating?

The Pats are the Evil Empire. Bellicheck is a jerk and Brady has the looks and is married to a super model... so they're going to be hated.

Scuffing isn't illegal... but one wonders why the Bucs had to pay some guy $7,500.00 to do it before the game.

The Packers QB Rogers did do it and nobody said a thing. It is only being mentioned now because of this.

Saints had the Head Hunting Scandal.

The NFL has the domestic abuse scandal AS does the Baltimore Ravens

The Patriots racked up 28 unanswered points on the Colts after they were giving new footballs... so...

Haters gotta hate.

I never said the Patriots won the game soley by cheating. They won because they were playing the Colts in New England.

In this type of thing, optics are everything. Congratulations on taking the focus off the NFLs other problems.

Funny part is, I was just reading, if they had just admitted it and said 'Whoops', they would have been fined $25K and it would be done.

I think they'll still get fined $25K and be done... maybe lose a first round pick.

I wonder if the Refs will be held responsible at all. The Umpire (The ref that places the ball and is behind the D-Line) holds the ball before and after every play.

Whole thing's silly. Coach Harbaugh said they noticed the balls were soft (alright, quit snickering, you immature bastards!), but they just chalked it up to the weather.

One of the reasons I'm a Ravens fan is we don't whine. The Pats won because they played better.

Really? Truly, gopher? In my wildest nightmares, I can't imagine anything like that happening in our league. But then, we had Mark Cohon at the helm, Gaia bless him. Frankly, there is very little I have seen to either like or believe when it comes to the NFL's head honcho.

They don't call him Belicheat for nothing.

Usually you can see how a team that lost did something wrong. Not in this case. I am a Seahawks fan and I had them pretty well written off. And 99% of the time given same scores and times, I would have been right. Glad I wasn't today.

Now GO INDY. I hate New England.

OHHHHHHHHHH.... OHHHHHHHHHH!

But I am the BAD GUY!

What graciousness you showed a couple weeks ago!

I am SO REDEEMED here.
