I agree with you that a raido 0 setup does have a significantly faster sustainted transfer rates. Perhaps I will add another raptor one day. Are you using an onboard raid controller or do you have pci card?

I have an NF4 motherboard that comes with a raid controller onboard so I'm using that.

My girlfriend just finished painting the side cover for my new computer case, it looks pretty cool in my opinion. Here it is.

Sorry if the picture is a little large.

very cool durk. I want mine painted now. Might have a go at it with some oil pastels. Need some mushrooms first though, can't do a thing without em :0)

Mushrooms always help.

My apartment has been stinking bad due to the oil based enamels my girlfriend has een painting with. That stuff is potent.

What brand HD did you use? I've never seen so many failed Maxtor drives as I have lately...

It's swell having dial-up access to the Internet....being poor in Canada doesn't allow spending on hi-speed so my posts get a little bolixed up....

I have a couple Western digitals and a couple maxtors. The maxtors I have, have been pretty reliable, I know maxtor had a reputation at one point for flaky drives though.

I added a new CPU cooler to my PC today, I picked up an OCZ Vindicator, it has lowered my idle CPU temps about 8 degrees at idle, and 15 under full load.

Here is a pic of the insides of my pc, the CPU cooler is the massive shiny thing, can't miss it. :)

Yep, that's big and shiny . Did you have a heat problem or are you just going for optimum proformance?

I had no problems with heat prior, with the new cooler I can overclock the piss out of the CPU though. I have it running stable at 3.4ghz right now... not too bad for a CPU which has a stock speed of 2.13ghz. :)
