I have an SOS in to Andem. :)

You know, it is probably something I am doing, or not doing. Or maybe a secret desire to be avatarily nekkid, who knows.

Thing is, that avatars which previously uploaded just fine are not longer loading, so maybe there is something else happening.

In the meantime, I will tip-toe daintily through the forum, nekkid as a jaybird, without a care in the world. :blob6:

Nope, don't think so, Haggis. Think it's a wee glitch. You're not the only one having the issue. :) As much as we like you nekkid, I prefer having your avatar for skimming through threads and identifying you. Would hate to miss any posts!

It looks like Homeland Security is in your 'puter!!!

Yup - that Pepsi thing - right through the nose!! My new jello screens don't like it... and my keyboard is a buffet of past Jay/ITN
antics - which destroyed my mastication perfection! :p

 Wednesday's Child, I know what you mean, my keyboard is in the same shape. I suggest we bill those two for new keyboards. And screens, what the hell. Then to top it off, we have that madman Zoof popping up all over the place, and, well, any recovery from laughter is soon lost.

Please see you avoid any mention of camping with Jay/ITN!

Especially as they are bringing sheep with them.

Hmm, now. Perhaps we could just overcome the dynamic naming, firewall, authentication, security, and access control problems such that anything and everything with a processor could be protocol-compatible with everything else and make my avatar a truly interactive medium.

Ha ha, I am just pretending. :compress:

Well, you're right. They are bound to be a bit sheepish about it, why, they'll probably try to pull the wool over our eyes, but we all know they're up to no good, they're both just plain baa'd. 8O

I thought Curling would have a more intellectual and sober crowd attending unless the countries encourage it....They are all dressed up for Hallowe'en and mayhem.

It is a passive sport...but it seems to have a good socialization kind of thing going....and a whole nuther language. I have about five family members who curl regularly - and I still don't understand it.

Well looks can be deceiving, that’s for sure....

A sport invented (perhaps) by drunken Scotts, whom the English would never allow anything more than a stick or a stone to be used for anything (now you know why golf came to be) throwing rocks about the ice, seemingly with a purpose, using sticks and cornstalks to sweep away the throw up (from the drinking) and the blood from the fighting about who's stone was where....Truly games like curling come from the violent, brutal engagements of Island life with the English and the whiskey.

Today they try to pass it off as a genteel sort of thing, prime and proper even....but we know the truth.

Ha Jay

I'll have to keep that image in mind when I watch the next sober curling match....

The description of Scot's certainly seems authentic. Who'd a thunk it venerating curling and golf....from what was a crude beginning... with men wearing skirts no less...

Maybe I haven't had enough coffee yet, Cosmo, but this is the message I keep getting! Mind you, I'm getting used to being avatarily nekkid, although it does get a bit breezy:

This issue should be fixed now.

Thanks Andem. Hmm, there is still one problem, though. You forgot to do the thing with the white smoke rising from the Sistine Chapel to announce my new role as Pope of Every Blinkin' Thing Around. No worries. As a pope, I am infinitely patient. Bless you, my child. :D

Can we have a "make fun of the mods" thread? :blob4:

Something like, how many moderators does it take to ban a member? One. They think the forum revolves around them. :D

Absolutely! You can have a make fun of the mods thread, in fact, I actively encourage it (she says, as she sharpens her knives in the torture room).

Where do you get your Holy Water from?

My child, it is dipped from the purest mountain streams in a remote Tibetan village on the other side of nowhere. The water is blessed by deranged Monks of a Secret Forum Order, and is then carried in sacred vials across mountains and the sea to the Forum Vatican where I sometimes accidentally spill it, in which case I fill the vials with tap water, throw some Holy Marys at it, and call it a day.

Wonderful. Let's see who I should pick on first (definately not the knife lady). Hmmmmm.
