By Mychal Massie: Three significant historical events have been eclipsed by Obama: 1) Jimmy Carter will no longer be looked upon as the worst president in American history; 2) Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton will no longer be recognized as the greatest liars in presidential history; 3) Clinton's stain on Monica's dress, and what that did to the White House in general and the office of the president specifically, will forever pale in comparison to the stain and stench of Obama.

I need not spend much time on the failure of Obama as president. His tenure has been a failure on every measurable level. So much so, in fact, that some of the staunchest, most respected liberal Democrats and Democratic supporters have not only openly criticized him – some even more harshly than this essayist – but they have called for him to step down.

When was Jimmy Carter put on the top of the list of worst presidents? I would've thought James Buchanan would be there, you know, the guy who half the country seceded under while he did nothing. Left it to his successor to clean up. Carter and Obama don't have anything quite that bad.

Also, this timeline doesnt work too well. Claudius was a far better leader than several of his predecessors and his successor. He was no idiot.

The writer appears to have gotten one thing right, since I believe most current historians have assigned George W. Bush that position.

Folks are realizing that President Obama doesn't walk on water. Certainly wish him well for the remainder of his current term, and hopefully a topshelf Republican candidate emerges soon enough to make the 2012 presidential race much more than an Obama slam-dunk!

I heard one estimate that the housing market crash in the US has taken about 1.4 trillion dollars annually out of the economy. Obama could be Jesus Christ but neither he nor any other person in office stands a chance with a burst housing bubble. The stimulus packages have been a drop in the bucket compared to the unemployment that has occurred from housing alone. But he has to live with the cards dealt and it will likely be is undoing. Bad timing and luck more than anything.

maybe radio could mount enough opposition to Obama. Radio with Rush and the other half whits

America is broke, they have destroyed their own base of production, scientific innovation and the
ability to lead anyone in any meaningful direction. Crazy people still threaten America and these are
not terrorists or dictators, they are Tea Party Crazies who believe all manner of things.
When social conservatives take control things will really begin to unwind. America has no compass.
Social Conservatives believing God will come to the rescue and we will all conform to the ideal of a
simpler time, that of course has never existed.
If you think Obama is a bad choice wait until some of the other people gain control Greece and
Albania will start looking attractive.
Oh and one other thing for those who believe Obama is a left wing Liberal? He is not, Obama is a
left of center conservative if not a mainstay conservative. The only thing that makes him look left
wing is he is not a rabid Tea Party person with no political intelligence what so ever.
The other thing in Obama's favour, is that he is still clinging to hope that the mess left behind by the
Bush White House is still fixable, and it is not. Too bad the reign of America is about to end.
