Well, bet your life savings on it, then.

Please!

Considering that in the last poll, the Tories were leading the Liberals 34%-28%, whereas the NDP were a mere 2 points ahead of the Greens at 14%, perhaps falling to the 5th party in Parliament is more likely.

Toro it's funny to see you use the savings issue as a scare tactic against the dreadful socialist NDP when you're speaking as a capitalist living in a capitalist dream world where savings have evaporated under the capitalist globalist miracle. The Socialist Empire will require bean counters like you, they'll be real beans though, not credit beans.:laughing7::laughing7::wave:

Not only that. People were so happy with Mulroney they threw out his whole party except for what? a couple?

Kim Cambell handed Chretien close to a fifty billion dollar deficit and within three years Chretien, with all his faults, balanced the budget. Mulroney had the same choice, for all nine years the SOB was in office. Mulroney chose to run a fifty billion dollar budget every year he was in there. That debt has cost Canadians close to half a trillion dollars in interest and we are still paying. Thanks a lot Brian.

Thank heavens for the Reform Party.

Without them, the Liberal's would have kept spending drunken sailors, and the Liberal-caused deficit, fed by the entitlement culture the Liberals hoisted upon this country, would have gone on forever.

Take a bow, Preston!

It's sad Toro - he was a visionary - alas, he does not garner kudos,

and what's this 'entitlement' stuff - oh, sorry,

forgot you were referring to the Liberal Party du Kanada. . . .

With all of Stephen Harper's mishaps and hellhounds, I smell another 1993 in the air. Is it possible that the NDP overtake the Conservatives to become the main opposition party next election with Jack Layton becoming the Leader of the Opposition and Stephane Dion as PM?

Goodness I would love that.
Really? I smell a Conservative Majority, because the Liberals are making themselves look stupid outside of Ontario. Maybe people in Ontario are fooled, but not elsewhere.
