Alberta’s oil patch should focus on energy transition and waste no time on resentment

Canadian oil producers, the big ones especially, are spending serious money to reduce emissions from operations, expand carbon capture and support new clean tech. This year, a group made up of the five largest oil sands producers set its own net-zero-by-2050 target. It pledged to do it while contributing what it says could be $3-trillion to the country’s gross domestic product.

The industry is aiming to be both low-cost and low carbon. It’s a tall order, but a necessary one as investors with a world of opportunities, and mandates to reduce their own CO2 footprints, pick their spots.

The MSM needs to pay attention. California asked Biden for permission to crank up their natgas plants to max output. Britain is suffering not only a fossil fuel shortage but a CO2 shortage as well. Meanwhile Bidumb is begging OPEC to crank up output in order to lower the price of gas for Americans. Germany is also relying heavily on fossil fuels as well and come winter, the demand will increase even more.

On top of all of that, it's pretty clear that retards like you and MSM seem to under some weird impression that oil is only used to generate power and nothing else.

You do realize that FOX is the part of the MSM, right?

What with Boomer's rabid excitement about them leading in ratings everywhere...

I think it is time to set up a national petition on who wants to end Carbon based energy and then proceed to cut them off and confiscate any products from them produced from the same resources.

That should get us back to pre-2005 carbon levels on its own

That is pretty stupid even from the gloom&wail.

What the fuck does that have to do with anything? Your link is from the G&M.

I guess you were still suckling at your mommy's teat while the MSM spent about 5 years lying to the world about a Y2K apocalypse. I'm willing to bet that if Flat-Earthers paid the MSM enough money in advertising revenues the MSM would push the flat earth narrative.
