Valentines Day yesterday and the weather was too gross to even
leave the house last night, so we curled up to this movie:

It was GOOD!!! We laughed, and laughed some more....

Here's a Bloopers reel. Gives an idea of the chemistry going on with
the cast. The movie was a real hoot!!

I watched the 2010 British/Irish Hammer horror Wake Wood on BBC1 on Saturday night.

This very British/Irish cult horror sees a couple grieving the tragic death of their nine-year-old daughter move to a sleepy village. Stumbling into a strange night-time ritualistic pagan ceremony, the couple are made an offer they find difficult to refuse - to have their daughter back. But the return of their daughter has terrifying consequences....

And now that it has recently been on the BBC, you can watch the whole film here: BBC iPlayer - Wake Wood

And here's a very different film that I saw on BBC a few days ago. A comedy - written by Jewish comedian David Baddiel - starring British Bahá'í comedian Omid Djalili, who is of Iranian descent.

When north London Muslim Mahmud's mother dies, he discovers from his birth certificate that he is adopted - and Jewish! With his son poised to marry the daughter of a hardline Islamic cleric, now is not the perfect time for Mahmud to have a crisis of faith. But then he meets an American Jewish cabbie and begs him to show him how to be a proper Jew, with disastrous results.

Watch it here: BBC iPlayer - The Infidel

wherever i sit down my ars
Watched Good Will Hunting for the umpteenth time. I like all the characters in the film. I thought Wills Girlfriend Skylar was especially beautiful. My favorite character in the film though, was Robin Williams. His expressions made his performance very believable. Talented person. One of my favorites.

Two night ago I watched new British horror/sci-fi The Rendlesham UFO Incident, a found footage film which is based on real events.

The Rendlesham UFO Incident

Documentary style sci-fi horror.

In December 1980, over a period of three nights, dozens of military personnel from RAF Woodbridge and RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk were witness to unexplained lights and landings in Rendlesham Forest, near the two airbases. They remain probably the most famous UFO sightings in history.

Over 30 years later, a couple (Robert Curtis and Abbie Salt) decide to go illegally "nighthawking" for Anglo-Saxon gold in Rendelsham Forest, Suffolk. They are joined by their extraterrestrial-obsessed friend Jake (Danny Shayler), who wants to search the rumoured site of alien sightings and capture the entire experience on film. While exploring the surrounding forest, they begin to witness unusual activity in the skies directly above and all their equipment starts to malfunction. Then, as they venture deeper into the wooded area, the group stumble upon an old abandoned MoD base, in which the secrets behind the mysterious events are revealed....

Actually filmed in Rendlesham Forest itself.

it carried me to the end but it was lacking in various ways, I wanted a more tidy wrap up since the end is a tad confusing, I liked that both women were strong and not simpering fools

I also liked that the characters were not black and white
