Great film!

Films that I regret.....

Fargo....can't stand that accent.
Million Dollar Baby...too depressng
The Spirit....My wife and I went to see Quantum of Solace but it was sold out so we saw this piece of garbage.
Attack of the Clones....I am huge star wars fan and this was a complete disapointment.
City Hall....fell asleep in the theater for the first time ever.
Joe vs the volcano.....complete crap.

I don't know. Could be a neat little time waster.

I saw it at The Ridge in Vancouver when I was a student out there ... very twisted film ... one that makes one really dislike the rumble of the train.

I enjoyed it. Of course, I wasn't sober at the time, so that might have something to do with it. I'm amazed that there are people out there who saw it. Did we all see it at university?

Anyone out there see Liquid Sky?

HA! I kill with my crunt! Most excellent. We still laugh about that movie.

Somewhere, someplace
Here's my little list.
Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen Far too much humour, all "darkness" promised by Bay completely absent because of over the top/amount of humour, retarded/illiterate twin robots, robot dieties, religious epithany of robot dieties, Optimus sailor mooned back to life, no feeling of "good guy" characters are in real danger, terrible portrayal of war even by sci-fi standards. awful writer (ehren kruger).
The Last Airbender Bad acting, bad story/plot, bad dialogue, bad choice of actors, M. Night Shamalan as writer/producer/director a very bad combination.
G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra Bad acting, bad dialogue, bad actors, bad story/plot, bad writers, no sense of realism, awful visual effects, bad choice of actors.

''and what movies do you like to watch?'

Nothing intelligent that you would like - things like Charlie Chaplin, Humphrey Bogart, Spencer Tracy. Good stuff like that they made in the 1930s and 1940s.

The original 1973(?) version of Walking Tall. A brutal sheriff beats up all the bad guys in town, they kill his wife, he kills a couple of them, lots of gratuitous violence, supposedly based on a true story but heavily fictionalized. Only movie I've ever walked out of before the end.

Oh, and ANY musical. Sound of Music, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, any of them, they all suck out loud. In real life, people don't burst into song like that, makes the whole thing laughable to me. With the possible exception of Jesus Christ Superstar. There was some really fine music in that one that redeems it from being just another suck out loud musical.

I did. I was really into odd films back then. Double features at The Ridge were the best, cheap entertainment in town ... for a student.

I have problems with musicals as well ... and poetry, but that's another topic altogether.
