in my opinion, there is no difference in the above, and those that perform and/or support abortion. Killing is killing, murder is murder. A human life is being taken.

I'm not in favour of abortions either, but I do recognize that in rare cases there are extenuating circumstances, where I suppose there is no other solution. My wife had a tubal pregnancy back around 1983, which damn near killed her. I didn't regard it as an abortion in the usual sense, but that is what it was. As long as something is legal you just can't be condemning people for their choices, as unsavoury as it may be.

She was talking about her friend's child and it looked to me that autism was probably the least of his problems and it appeared the child had all but destroyed her friend. I thought her friend was very nobel. Not every person can manage that severe of a problem nor should they be expected to, otherwise you're going to end up with two sick people. I just reread her description of the child and I wouldn't rule out profound retardation, severely dysfunctional mentally and physically, prone to violence, she's already sick and her husband has had a stroke. These people should be praised not ridiculed.

I just read that post a third time, and I couldn't find any mention of killing the child. She did mention killing herself had she been in the position of her friend. I don't think that deserves a "useless expletive".
