OLYMPIC CHIEFS BAN SAUSAGE 'RINGS' SIGN

Butcher Dennis Spurr has been ordered to take down a sign showing the Olympic rings made from sausages.
Spoilsport Games chiefs claim he cannot use the logo because he is not an official sponsor.
But furious Dennis, 54, yesterday vowed to defy the ban, saying: "I can't see the problem. It's just a harmless way to get people in the mood and it gives my customers a smile."
Dennis's Fantastic Sausage Factory shop in Weymouth, Dorset, is yards from where sailing events will be staged at the 2012 London games.

He sells one million bangers a year, including the Beckham Bender and the Tom Jones.
An Olympic organising committee spokesman said: "We have to protect the logo closely."

Locutus is quoted as saying: "Of course you do you wanker".

GAMES FACT
The rings were designed in 1913 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, founder of the modern Games. They represent the five continents and the colours - blue, yellow, black, green and red on a white base - taken from the world's national flags

BAH! Leave the meat packing sausage maker alone. Of course only corporations and companies with nice fat cheques are allowed to reap the rewards. Corporate Tom foolery!
