The economy is feudal: land-based, **** work, low pay, exorbitant rent, absentee landlords.

Oh Ouch. So people's belts are pretty tight when it comes to expenditures. That sucks, I was going to set my business back up in Vancouver.. but it may be worth holding off for a spell.

Yup it s sucks on the coast and in the Brokenagan.

Yes, but the weather is better in the Okanagan than on the Prairies.

I lived there and here, it is pretty much the same.

Oh yes I can see the similarities too...

Okanagan - rugged mountain range, wineries and presien lakes.

Saskatchewan Flat.. if your dog ran away, you could watch him keep running for 2 days.

Oh no, the economy is "supercharged". Plenty of credit to scoop up before it collapses in on itself. Do you own a payday loan business?

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Nowadays they call feudalism "libertarianism".

Oh, please! 264% is a perfectly reasonable interest rate. Think of the risk the lender takes!

Happy peasants and workers toiling at their simple tasks and enjoying their rough but hearty fare whilst their benevolent superiors guide their destinies. What could be better?

Internet Web Hosting & Web Design.. All my servers are in Coquitlam, BC, currently offline. I was ill for a while and undergoing a few operations to remove tumors.

I'm on the mend and also looking to return to Langley, BC. Closer to the US for shopping and better climate, more greenery and of course the Pacific.

I miss Stanley Park, Whytecliff Park, Cypress Mountain and all the other nature parks within a few hours of a major city. Vancouver is awesome, #1 city in Canada in my mind, and I have been coast to coast to coast in Canada.

And in Kelowna someone would steal my dog and sell it for meth.

Yes, higher wages are preferable in principle, but it's done by educating the poor to raise their economic worth. Proof? Try raising the minimum wage to 20 dollars per hour and see what happens.

...and how is the economy on the "other side of Mountains?"

I've been hearing Vancouver job market is slow, just like Alberta. What's the deal?

Saskatchewan is booming. SaskJobs.ca
Well as far as the Vancouver job market what you hear is very wrong .

I lived there and here, it is pretty much the same.
