Why? Because there is no way in Hell you can use a swiffer to sweep snow out of a pair of cords like a good corn broom.

I wore a Stoner Jacket with the Kodiak boots and the wide-leg jean bellbottoms tucked into the front of the boot. 1979...I had just become a teenager. And I carried around my school books in an old Adidas bag like all of the other students.

(A Stoner Jacket was the colour and style of a Lumberjack Jacket, in case you're a millennial and didn't know)

Oops! Sorry...I didn't know I wasn't allowed to post a pic of a gal o' naturale!

I have to shake my head just a little bit, though. After all of the swearing/ insults/ belittling/ and debauchery that occurs on a daily basis on this forum...to have the sweet picture I posted of a naked woman deleted seems a bit odd to me.

There were a still few decent cars in the early 70's.

There were lots of decent cars in the early 70's - back then some of car's that were rolling off the production line were so powerful they could pop the front wheels off the ground about 6-8 inches - they don't make then like that anymore/ Cheers!

I was round at my grandmother's in Little Lever on Tuesday and I saw a photo on the table along the wall of my parents stood outside the church on their wedding day on New Year's Eve 1977. My dad's flares look so flared it must have appeared that it legs weren't moving as he walked.

Yeah, sure. Early 1970s 302 would make 210 hp, and they rushed so fast you could watch them disappear. Nobody who worked on the line could match up body panels.

The Japs studied and learned from their mistakes. The Americans never did and now the Japanese and Koreans eat their lunch.
