Just go back and find the thread about the 'Man who barbecued his girlfriend, and read some of the
posts, which will again prove how disrespectful and unthoughtful some men are concerning women.
I was horrified, and said so on that thread.

I know you were. The part you missed is that I would have said the same things if it was a woman who barbecued a man. That's the part that you're unable to see, with your gender tinted glasses.

I thought the disturbing gender theme of that thread wasn't the jokes (those would have happened regardless of the victim's gender), I thought the disturbing theme was how often women are murdered by their partners or their exes. It happens to men sometimes too, but it's much more common with women. I think it's sick that we should have to screen pregnant women for abuse because the most likely cause of death when they're pregnant is domestic violence.
