Mel Hurtig is a highly respected Canadian, EagleSmack. It is your government that is prone to temper tantrums. Mel writes books and teaches. He testifies in front of parliament. He makes his points.
Paul Cellucci has been likely the worst ambassador your country has ever sent here...not surprising since he was sent by the worst president your country has ever had.

The poor guy threw a hissy fit! It was rather childish for a guy who "teaches and writes books" ( :lol: ) to act.
Freedom Fries... that was funny wasn't it. It sure got those folks (like you) all bent. I still call them french fries though. It is easier and I've called them that all my life.

That would require EagleSmack to actually read Mel's entire speech, to understand the context in which that speech was made, and to have at least a cursory knowledge of the actions and statements of his government and their representative in Canada, Twila.
