A man has become the first person in Britain to have 3D tattoos on his face.
His Royal Majesty Body Art King of Ink Land, aged 33 from Stechford, Birmingham, is covered head to toe in skin art. Even the white of one eye has been tattooed black.
His first tattoo was a British bulldog, which he had as soon as he turned 16, the legal minimum age to have tattoos. He even has The Jeremy Kyle Show tattooed on the back of his head. The tattoos on his face are tribal ink tattoos, inspired by the Maori of New Zealand.
But he has now gone one step further after receiving his first round of facial branding to give his tattoos a 3D effect, a procedure which involves using an electrical surgical machine to burn and cauterise the skin, which will leave permanent scarring.
