First a libertarian would have to become a lefty to become a fascist.

A libertarian would need to become an authoritarian, yes. That is very easily done since most people who call themselves libertarians are done in name only because it sounds nice to them. They don't fully understand the extent of that philosophy if they were to actually adhere to it, so they become easily indoctrinated by authoritarian figures (like Trump).

Trump cheers polling showing his grip on GOP, doubts about legitimacy of Biden election

CBS poll shows 80 percent of Republicans support removing Liz Cheney, 67 percent doubt Biden won.

Former President Donald Trump on Sunday evening cheered new polling showing he has a firm grip on a Republican Party that does not accept the legitimacy of Joe Biden’s election win.

CBS News released polling earlier in the day showing two-thirds of Republicans believe loyalty to Trump is important, while 67 percent believe Biden is not the legitimate winner of the 2020 election. Eighty percent of Republicans said they supported the House GOP’s removal of Liz Cheney from its leadership.

Trump hailed the findings in a statement issued by his political action committee.

”Breaking News! New polling by CBS News on the state of the Republican Party (which is very strong!). President Trump has a strong hold on the GOP,” the former president said.

“Eighty percent of Republicans agree with the removal of Liz Cheney from GOP Leadership and only 20% disagree,” he added. “The poll also showed that 67% of Republicans said that they do not consider Sleepy Joe Biden to be the legitimate winner of the 2020 Presidential Election. I agree with them 100%, just look at the facts and the data—there is no way he won the 2020 Presidential Election!”

35 Republicans buck Trump, back study of Jan. 6 Capitol riot

Legislation to create commission to probe Capitol riot appears unlikely to pass in the Senate

Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Wednesday that he will not back the move to establish the commission.

Has to pass with 60 votes, not going to happen

Biden stole the election with rigged vote counting machines and help from his commie friends.
How else do you explain numerous counties having more votes cast than the number of eligible voters living in those counties? A few of those counties actually had the number of votes cast outnumbering the total number of residents residing in those counties.

Voters will not soon forget how the election was stolen and you can bet that they will show up in huge numbers in 2024 to re-elect President Trump.

Polling found supporters of the GOP outnumbered those who said they back Trump more than the party.

The majority didn't denounce Trump. The majority said they wanted someone else.

But that doesn't matter. If Trump is at 40% at the beginning of the primaries, he'd almost certainly be the nominee.

Unfortunately, the GOP has become the GQP - a cult, not a party, that feeds of grievance and loon conspiracy theories.
