A Brampton woman is counting her lucky stars after a large circular saw blade flew off a vehicle and sliced into the front bumper of her car.

The blade literally cut right into her vehicle.

Arfa Ata was driving her Mercedes on Gore Rd. in Caledon on Thursday when the terrifying event happened.

“I saw this saw blade cut through my car, not just the bumper, but it got through my radiator, the pipes and everything, oil was leaking,” she told CTV News.

“It could have hurt me really badly,” the tax accountant added.

She isn’t sure if the driver of the other vehicle is aware of what happened, but she hopes the motorist sees media reports on the incident and contacts police.

“High-end battle bot? No — this motorist very lucky when the saw blade came off of a passing vehicle and wedged itself into her car,” the OPP tweeted. “Ensure all items are secure before driving.”
