Picked up a nice root beer the other day!

Now there’s a flash from the past!! I remember when the above came out here locally in competition to the below:

It was pretty amazing stuff in the ‘70’s.

Like the “Bonanza” & “Ponderosa” restaurant business models, that both seem to have disappeared forever ago. Both were formative salad bar impressions on a young guy at the time.

I liked the blue creme soda better than the red.

White crème soda. Didn’t drink much pop back then but we sure did from one of those two above locations once a month, day after payday.
