So just what, rcs, should he {Justin} have done ? Had he done nothing he would have gotten the same ****storm from the zealots as he's getting now. Its the ndp that ****ed up in my opinion, the "victims" went to their leader first and apparently got no results, so they went to the Liberals, who by the way did not identify the victims as was requested.
The whole mess stinks to high heaven, the "victims" should either press charges of **** off.

Easy.

We are not sure exactly what the MPs are accused of.

In any situation involving sexual harassment in a private company, the parties involved would have been called in to a private meeting, it would be made clear the advances were undesired and offensive to the victims, the offenders would be instructed to apologize, and to cease and desist, and strict rules on their professional relationship would have been created.

Nice and tidy.

Any repeat offense would have been dealt with by serious punishment, such as removal from caucus.

And sexual assault should have been refered to legal authorities.

SIMPLE.

And Justin can't handle it.

God forbid he be PM.

Trudeau advertised the actions of his MPs as 'Personal Misconduct'.

There is a significant difference between sexual harassment and personal misconduct. He has clouded the issue, presumably until the facts are released, but this adds more weight to his poor decision to kick them out of caucus.

He should have waited to see if the complaints levied were credible. I can't support throwing anyone to the wolves before they some kind of credible evidence has been brought forward.

Trudeau will always have critics and that doesn't necessarily make them all zealots. Opposition parties almost always criticize. If he had supported his MP's I would say screw the critics.

Blaming the NDP for the knee jerk reaction of the Liberal Leader is kind of silly.

I agree with you there Relic.
