I guess reading polls is a bit of a task for you too, what with all the letters and the numbers and more letters...

i wonder why that didn't get edited as a personal attack. Just wondering.

If it does get edited blue, I'll take it like a man instead of whining like a little bitch about it...

Hey girlfriend-- weren't we talking about representative democracy? How's we get onto Sterilized Babies. Oh yea, I used it as an analogy for abortion. Oh gosh somehow the Libs have AGAIN got us all talking about the evils of the right wing when we started off talking about how they don't accept anyone elses opinion... Surprised? No. Ujhal Dosanj tries to bribe and MP and they've got everyone distracted on 2 seconds of edited tape.

Actually, the thread was about which government was more corrupt, but some of the side tracks get really interesting. The Liberals are indeed the masters of spin, and it works, they've got a whole province, Ontario, and a whole region, Maritimes, believing their lies and innuendoes. Again, I guess they know their audience. :p

Hey bub, wake up and smell the oil: we finance the WHOLE COUNTRY right now. And that INCLUDES lining your Liberal pals pockets.

Give it up, Matty. Blue tried that one a while back. Maybe he'll be kind enough to point you to the thread where he got handed his ass.

Plus, BC would go. Absolutely.

We have a fair number of BCers on here. Why don't you ask them what they think of your little separatiste scheme?

Do the math dude:

I did, remember? That's why you're yarking at me about this. I pointed some (not all) of the ongoing costs you plan to pay for with $20 billion a year. I was up to at least $50 billion when I quit.

How come Ontarians know get so upset about a 1920's Alberta scandal but haven't heard of "Adscam", "Shawinigate" or "Billion Dollar Boondoggle"

To be honest I think Ontario sees that writing on the wall: that the West is quickly passing them by and will ultimately eclipse them in power and wealth. I need to ask the Ontarians out there, do you keep electing Libs because you are clinging to power or is it just a pure hatred or maybe simply ignorance about Western politicians? Maybe all of the above?

Pretty easy to knock the payers when you are the recipients. And no one hands me my ass, especially you. My points were never refuted because they couldn't be, despite your efforts at spin. Matty has some good points.,

The total amount of revenue this fiscal year for the feds is abobut $200 Billion. So lib dude with his brilliant accounting figures AT LEAST $50 Billion or 1/4 of the entire federal budget goes toward providing services in Alberta!!! lol man...he smart!

Yeah...got those firewalls up yet blue?

Say what? Who was talking firewalls? Although it may be a good idea if some sort of reconfederation within Canada does not work out.

Whether you and your pals want to recognise or understand it, there is a very large segment of the population out here that is just waiting to see what happens in the next election. If the libs get relected, especially with a majority, then Quebec separatism will look like a garden party. If the rest of Canada, especially the east, wants to believe lies and innuendoes about the conservatives, all the time totally ignoring the corruption and sleaze that has been shown to be true of the Liberal party, many of us just simply will not want to belong to that kind of country any more, especially if we are footing a major portion of the bill. So it really comes down to the people in the east if they want to keep this country together. Believe lies and innuendoes and ignore sleaze and corruption, or actually think a little for yourselves instead of parroting the lines by Layton and Martin and the spin meisters of both parties.

Man you guys are too much...I haven't had so much fun since the pigs ate my brother...

Ha ha I was thinking the same.

BTW I live in Vancouver and don't hear too much talk about leaving, let alone going on our own with Alberta. There are a few that want to leave but it is always the same old people.

mattyaloo- Stephen Harper, Randy White, Nina and Germant Grewal, the resident CPC racists etc- does not give normal people any reason to vote tory, just reasons not to vote for your party.

I know you are expecting me to say this so without any further a-do-- Harper is a big scarey boogeyman with a devious hidden agenda.

What he forgets is that we would no longer have to pay Fed Income Tax to Canada, so all that revenue would stay in Alberta. The GST would obviously go, to be replaced? Maybe, maybe not. We already pay the feds a lot for the RCMP, so the cost of our own police force would be reduced. Regarding military, if we got one, would Canada want one too? Seriously, if we gave the US access to Cold Lake in return for their protection, I would support that.
So add on our transfer payments plus the federal income tax and the surpluses we have now, with the additional revenues the oilsands will bring in, yes, it is doable. Easy, no, but then Albertans have never backed down from a challenge, have they.

RE: Liberals are the Most

Economic union is a lot diferent than forming a seperate country. He also wants an economic union with Washington state, and we are not joining them to form our own country anytime soon. Its just business.

Class? Let's hear those Grewal tapes again: of the PMO chief of staff dangling a cabinet post in front of Grewal like the briber he is. Let's check into Lib THEFT of taxpayer money, shoving into envelopes and handing it to admen under tables at italian restaurants. Yea, real classy.
