Difference being, I have a disability which requires I depend on spellcheck, while TB has an education system with wrong spelling in the dictionary. TBF, if spellcheck had been invented earlier, perhaps their dictionary would have been correct.

No, I just can't spell worth a shit. Rather weird, since both my parents were excellent spellers, despite gr 8 education. Also both were very good musicians, while I can't carry a tune in a bucket. Can't draw either. I can talk to equipment though. And build things. Also, I was reading at college level in gr.8. I think part of the problem is that we had a combination of British and American textbooks. My wife, who is from Germany, claims both me and my daughter-in-law both have real strong west coast accents, and I tend to spell things the way I pronounce them.
All this makes spellcheck super handy, except when autocorrect changes a word on me and I probably won't pick up on it.

Strictly as a thought experiment and in no way something I actually support as far as becoming part of the US, this is something I've thought about for Canada in general. Make the Maritimes on province. Quebec and Ontario are big enough to be stand alone provinces. Combine the three prairie provinces into one mega province (geographically) and BC could also be a stand alone province unless they wanted to join the "Prairie Federation". Keep the Territories as is.
This thinking was mostly from several years ago about how to make Canada's first-past-the-post electoral system a little more balanced. Its not perfect maybe but it's a start. Step two would be stripping Quebec of its de facto seat of power in Canada. No more catering to the Kaybeckwahhhhh at the expense of the RoC.

Being a Maritimer, honestly as much as I do want to agree with combining all of us into one, the problem would be... French.
Even though PEI and NS have their own French populations (less NS, mind you), NB STILL has provincial laws to protect the "Acadian Culture" and that's why we're officially a Bilingual province (and I won't go on more about it here; it's a topic all of its own). NS and PEI would never agree, and half the population of NB would never agree to be 'as included' as they are now...
Thing is, Northern NB and the North-East coast - all the Acadian areas - would never join Quebec either because even they're mostly 'fuck Quebec'. So there's no dividing NB up.
All that said, TRADE wise - and in other ways - there IS a push to get something like this going, has been for a while but this Trump bullshit has encouraged it even more.
