Just the fact he is from Quebec will eliminate him Manitoba West.
It certainly won't help him, but at the same time with the point system the way it is he doesn't really need to worry about that if he can get a lot of sign ups in areas where there aren't a lot of conservative voters. One of the problems with the point system is that a riding with 100 conservative voters who are our members can have as much clout as a Riding with 40,000 members

I see that as working in our favour. Few people in rural areas want anything to do with Quebec.

That's true, but there are fewer rural areas. Remember that this is based on ridings. And just like always Quebec has an awful lot of ridings. And many of them don't have a lot of conservative party members. So if you signed up 100 party members in 28 Quebec ridings then you would have more points available to you then all of Manitoba and Saskatchewan combined. Not to mention those Prairie ridings we'll probably have some of their points split between the front-runner and other candidates like leslyn. So there was a path, what remains to be seen is whether or not he was able to pull it off. But you can bet that his point score is going to be higher than his popularity score either way.

If Charleston wins so does the Liberal Party of Canada and the Canadian people lose .
