This is the evening cup of coffee. Looks just like the morning one except it is later the same day. That help with the perspective??
even when I was a little girl attending catholic school, with all the trimmings that go with it,
my family never observed lent, so neither did I as I grew older, didn't even think about it.
I do remember the 'no eating' meat on Friday, don't remember if we obeyed that rule or not, and
maybe that doesn't even exist now.

It is Shrove Tuesday tomorrow, unless you live East of Eastern Europe.
I'm going to give up being pedantic, for Lent. Forty days in the desert, eh?

You'd think with 40 days of privation ahead, they might load up on a steak or something!
Boulder Beach just outside of Vegas every spring breakup for a few years. The girls filled up their bags up at Shakey's Bunch-A-Lunch and the cold beer store was across the street. Only way to tell how long we were there was by the tan line.
