Hey that reminds me...I took a trip past St. Leon a couple weeks ago and saw the wind farm they are setting up out there...most impressive... 8)

You oughta come to southern Alberta, Pincher Creek, Brocket areas to see the wind farms already putting out power like crazy. Been going for a lot of years already, newer ones south of Lethbridge. Not just gas and oil there, thats for sure.

Nah...I think I'll pass...southern Manitoba is Conservative enough as it is...I don't think I could hack the neoconservativism spewing forth from Calgary...

You know what, thats great Vanni. Then why don't you support the consitution and tell everyone else to leave provincial resources and revenues from resources alone? If you are happy, you should care less what surplus Alberta, or any other province has, and what they do with it.

No, actually, I'd like to see the oil industry nationalized...just to have an opportunity to see guys like you cry like little bitches...

Won't happen, so get over yourself. When you grow up, you can sit at the adult table, but until then, stay at the kiddie table in the corner where you belong.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that one to happen. Alberta is the leader in the country for alternative energy sources, simply because primarily the technology being developed in the oil and gas sectors, and they lead the country in wind energy production too. Trust me, if the feds leave Alberta alone, Alberta will be fine. It is only when the feds get involved that things go straight to hell.

Again, that's all dependent on the oil industry. If that goes south so does all that diversification. They might leave you the wind farms, but they'll likely pack those up and ship them to Texas along with the rest of your economy.

You are being played like a violin, Blue.

Get used to it. If you are from Alberta, you are classified as something less than human from some on this board. Just goes to show, though, that they really have no clue. Nice to have another Albertan around.

No use trying to explain anything to anyone who will not listen. Suffice it to say, you, as usual, are totally off base.

RE: Klein must share- exp

We don't care that you are from Alberta, Blue. It's your brutal greed and selfishness and your support of the Klein government and Stephen "Assless Chaps" Harper that shows us what an inadequate human being you are.

So tell me how Alberta is greedy and selfish when Albertans pay more into Canada per capita than any other province? How is it greedy when Alberta contributes transfer payments in not only the same amount they receive in energy royalty payments, but almost a billion dollars more? The rest of you should be so greedy, so suck it up, princess, and stop the whining. If you spent half the time trying to improve yourselves instead of looking to Alberta to do it for you, you might have something. But then, why bother, if Alberta keeps paying into your little socialist wonderland.

RE: Klein must share- exp

We don't look to you for anything other than comic relief, Blueboy. You forget to mention that it was all of Canada that paid to get your oilsands off the ground. You forget to mention that the federal government still subsidises the oil industry in this country. You forget to mention that you demanded money because of BSE, then protected the big corporations over farmers and ranchers all over this country.

All we ever hear from you is how much you pay. You never mention how much you take. You never mention underfunding your education system, then taking educated people from other provinces. You never mention taking things like the meat packing industry and concentrating it in your province through the use of subsidies and a lack of reasonable labour legislation to protect workers. You never mention that your environmental messes end up affecting people in the neighbouring provinces.

You like to forget to mention how much you take. You like to forget that for every dollar you give we have to listen to ten dollars worth of your bullshit and immature whining.

Nah...lena had to have been a roughneck by the way she's talkin' about 15 hours a day and that good all-Albertan work ethic...

I was in the military for 9 years lena...I doubt that you could educate me in the least about anything to do with hard work...I worked in the construction industry for 5 years after that...so as you can probably guess, I've had enough of the bullshit I hear from Albertans about how lazy the rest of the country is, and how they are the only ones that know how to work..

Well pea...it may very well be that she wear an apron while milking the cows...and I take her for being barefoot, so you can count on her having her fair share of cow shit squishing up between her toes...all the while baking those yummy pies...
