RE: Klein must share- exp

Blue, Klein cut you a worse royalty deal than most third world countries get. You could have been debt free years ago, but instead your worthless, uneducated, red-necked, drunken premier paid off the debt on the backs of poorest and weakest members of province. While he was making them suffer, he humiliated and spit on them.

Ralphie isn't your worst problem though. Your worst problem is that so many in your province have come to celebrate mean-spirited greed as a virtue that your province no longer has a soul or conscience to speak of. You have become a gaggle of self-interested, spoiled-rotten, thugs and bullies who lack the basic moral wherewithal to even acknowledge your own shortcomings.

Even swine don't shit where they eat, Blue. You serve it up and call it cake.

No shortage of either, Mom. Just short of patience with those who would whore out their own children to make a few pennies.

I will remember the Alberta government sending people out here to collect welfare cheques. Basically sending your social responsibilities to someone else, to look after.

As usual, that is incorrect. The only people that were sent away were those that did not want to work, but wanted to sit on their asses and collect welfare at the expense of others. They were given a choice: get a job or leave, because Alberta did not have the money to pay people not to work. Might work in other areas of Canada, but not in Alberta. So stop your whining about all the lazies that went your way.

Well, if it was the worst, how come Alberta is in the best shape? Other provinces have resources and are still have nots. LIke Manitoba. If you took the time to actually do some reading, you would have known by now that Alberta contributes more per capita to Canada than any other province, and that the royalties Alberta gets in effect all go to Canada now. There are no more royalty monies to get. Get over it, quit whining, and get to work just like Albertans did in the nineties, and someday, you might grow up to be like Alberta. Doubt it though.

So, if there were such problems with "Ralphies cuts" why did and do people continue to come to Alberta?

Alberta is a place where unscrupulous people go to make a bit of money and get out as fast as they possibly can.

Alberta is like a dirty whore that the unscrupulous will bone when they get the chance, but no one wants to marry... :p

Thats okay, Vanni, whine as much as you want. Albertas got the money, you don't, get over it. And really, how would you know about dirty whores anyway.........oh yeah, now I remember.
grow up, son.

None of those types in Alberta. Sent em all to Winnipeg.

Why don't you try posting without name calling? Your posts would be a lot shorter.

Ah, the man without a clue. Manitoba's economy has been doing much better under Doer than it did under Filmon. Seems Conservatives are lousy fiscal managers.

Of course we'd be doing even better if Filmon hadn't sold off profitable crown assets like MTS in the name of neo-con dogma.

We've diversified a lot though and with our hydro resources and development of alternative fuels and the crops that they come from, we'll be fine in a few short years. That'll be right around the time your province goes broke again. When Albertans come looking for a handout, we'll just ask if they ever voted for Ralphie. If they did, we'll lock 'em in crate and ship 'em back to Alberta.

You know what, thats great Vanni. Then why don't you support the consitution and tell everyone else to leave provincial resources and revenues from resources alone? If you are happy, you should care less what surplus Alberta, or any other province has, and what they do with it.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that one to happen. Alberta is the leader in the country for alternative energy sources, simply because primarily the technology being developed in the oil and gas sectors, and they lead the country in wind energy production too. Trust me, if the feds leave Alberta alone, Alberta will be fine. It is only when the feds get involved that things go straight to hell.

Hey that reminds me...I took a trip past St. Leon a couple weeks ago and saw the wind farm they are setting up out there...most impressive... 8)

You oughta come to southern Alberta, Pincher Creek, Brocket areas to see the wind farms already putting out power like crazy. Been going for a lot of years already, newer ones south of Lethbridge. Not just gas and oil there, thats for sure.
