Friends, family and business and work opportunities. The reason a person moves from country A to country B is the same as the reason a person moves from city A to city B.
Why are people crossing our border in sub-zero weather. Could it be that they are afraid they will be deported from the US under the Donald's racist policies?

In terms of my values, I would definitely point out freedom to live in peace, be able to accept that people have the right to live differently than me (LGBTQ, same sex marriage, pro choice), respect for the people that fought and died for my right to say I have Canadian values, and I appreciate that I'm able to live in a country where I can earn a good living for my family. I have much more values than listed here and my values are very much Canadian, and I am clear what they are.
