For your own sake, and that of the republic for which you allegedly work, wipe off your chins and regain your composure. I didn’t vote for him either, but Trump won. Pull yourselves together and deal with it, if you ever want to be taken seriously again.

Employees — speaking on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals — shared anecdotes about the sorrowful reaction in multiple departments to Trump’s win last month, and their own feelings about what comes next.

One employee said she’d cried on her way to work that morning — and wasn’t the only one weeping in her office.

Well after our past election many of Ottawa's public servants met and were cheering the election of Trudeau , Canada's back . Funny now they have found that government scientists still cannot speak freely , marijuana still has not been legalised , pipelines are being approved and Trudeau treats them no better then that evil rotten to the core Harper . In other words who cares .
