They should run the Roll Up The Rim To Win contest during the next Provincial election in Ontario and put out a few hundred thousand cups that say: "Yer Gone!"

Yup. If Tim's owners can't make it, close the doors. Maybe Tim's should take a leadership role and allow the franchisees to raise prices. If the local owners can't make a go of it under the current system, they'll close their doors. If that's fine with Tim's, why should anybody care

So Tim’s owners can’t make it paying $15 hr to their employees.. boohoo

Yet Alberta Wendy’s, McDonalds and may other establishments have been doing long before the NDP Government legislated it..

I suggest the Tim’s owners go take a small business and bookkeeping course, sounds like it might do them well.. also a few CC posters..

You stil haven't explained how a small buisness owner eats 31% in extra costs over night.

The wife and I had supper at Denny's tonight (Saturday) and the place was virtually empty at supper time. That in itself should tell anyone with half a brain something! $16 for pot roast - that should also tell them something!

Huh.

Tim Hortons protests to expand beyond Ontario, 50 demonstrations planned across Canada

Talk about mis-management! All of the other coffee-and-donut chains that Tim's competes against are all subject to the same minimum wage regime, yet nary a peep. This one is going to end up in Marketing texts as a good example of a bad example. Tim's whole management team needs to get the turf for letting this spiral out of control for zero reason or gain.

El stupido.
