anyone make these on a regular basis?

I just made up a whole batch: Kale, also known as borecole, is one of the healthiest vegetables on the planet. A leafy green, kale is available in curly, ornamental, or dinosaur varieties. It belongs to the Brassica family that includes cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, collards, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts.

gotta say, they taste disgusting, like green paper with salt..yuck...

however, tastes even worst raw... I am going to persevere due to the nutrient value.

Any particular reason why you can't simply select one of the less than absolute healthiest vegetables on the planet and perhaps eat that instead? Lol. Just askin'.

I get being healthy, I really do. But if you can't stand what you're eating, then what hell is the point? You have to eat to live but again, if you hate it, what kind of living are you doing?

I figure, eat what you enjoy, the stuff that's less good for you, eat it moderately at most, and the healthier stuff that you like, eat lots of it.

lol... well, I started with my nutribullet a few months ago and I see a huge difference even in my skin...now I am digging my juicer out, and looking for ways to just generally improve on things.

The kidney stone thing was a three pound weight loss. I would like another five gone for optimum health for my size which is a fairly petite bone structure. And eating in the healthiest way just leads to weight loss. I am also not enjoying junk food like I used to.

I dot not for one second believe that I can increase my life span. I believe our days are numbered from our arrival. I do however believe that we can enjoy a healthier life while we are here and that is my aim. I have eaten clean most of my life with a few lapses here and there. Like you I have been blessed with good health most of the time and I value that.

I also live in a building with a lot of old people. I see a huge difference between the clean eaters and the bad eaters. They are both still old but some are healthier, on less drugs and more active than others.

I also believe we are just a bag of chemicals...our food is just a chemical addition... I want to add the best possible chemicals to my cells if that makes any sense. :D

I get that, I totally do. But if you despise it, why bother to push? Just because it's nutrient rich? Unless you can hide it in something, to get the nutrients without having to endure the taste, I personally wouldn't bother.

My point is, you can absolutely eat healthy while still enjoying your food.

well SLM it is a matter of balance for me...I hated yogurt too when I first ate it....but kale will only be a part of my diet..for me it's about balance...I mean everything mental, emotional, spiritual I will eat the kale because my dislike of it does not equal it's value.

that is how I approach life... balance ... and it's value is huge it is only a tiny part of the day

when I first upped my water intake it made me feel ill, literally, now, I see a difference in how I feel... healthy food makes me feel better than junk. Junk is a short term reward, healthy is long term.

agreed but this is how I do most things in my life...I quite smoking not because I wanted to, but because it was best for me... same with my diet...life offers us lessons...we take them in or not... you would prefer not to overcome your dislike...I would prefer too. :D

different perspective, that is all

I enjoy flavoured yogurt and will purchase the healthiest choice amongst those kinds. The unflavoured yogurt I will try to use if I ever make a recipe that calls for yogurt. I guess that's how I do my "balance", lol.

You know, that may help with your little kale problem. Lol.

Me being my abnormal self can think of a number of things that would never taste good, regardless of how many times you tried it.
The curious can ask.
