So I agree with Blatchford that Joe Smuck would have gone to trial because of being unable to afford top notch Lawyers and PI's.

Would you disagree with that point or agree?

I disagree, because Joe Smuck can get a good lawyer, too. For example, in our area (Colpy and I, that is), if you're charged with a criminal offense, there's one guy who would be the absoute best, wears a nice hat, he actually came here as a young draft dodger from the US. He has the skill to mount a proper and full defence. And no, he's not unaffordable.

Then you are lucky - How many places with lawyers like that in Canada - that was my point -

Hiring a PI to investigate a person background then confirm all the details from credible sources etc can be quite expensive - bet this ran 30 k for Bryant -

Unless the person is hanging onto your car for dear life when you put the pedal to the metal

he wasn't hanging on for dear life, he chose to grab on to car while grabbing at the wheel. You have to be most ill informed person I have ever come across.

Bryant hits the cyclist by his sudden start which makes the cyclist angry they have words then Bryant kills the cyclist with his car then he leaves the scene of the accident and later he gets in contact with his lawyer and then he surrenders.

No community service, no fines and no jail time.

Because of his status he got away with murder without even a slap on the wrist but he says he will remember this for a long time so I guess that means something.

I love it when people see what they want to see.

Ah......a bit of advice...

1. Don't put the muzzle of a loaded pistol in your mouth.

2. Don't jump off things higher than your house.

3. Don't wrap plastic bags around your face.

4. Don't HOLD ON TO, OR LEAN IN AND GRAB THE STEERING WHEEL, OF A CAR THAT IS DRIVING AWAY!!!!!!!!
Words to live by Colpy!

Also Bryant could afford the best lawyers and investigators to find out this guys every move for the past number of years - So I agree with Blatchford that Joe Smuck would have gone to trial because of being unable to afford top notch Lawyers and PI's.

Disagree.
