The same stuff that is otherwise used to make jam out of!

And hey, the moldy bread doubles as anti-biotics too! We need more people like Arpaio in government, thinking outside the box. Too bad he funneled 100 million dollars into, amongst other things, his own political campaigning.

Don't grocery stores pay people to take their garbage? He was feeding prisoners rotten fruit, how was it he didn't get the cost of a meal down from a 20 cent cost to a 20 cent profit?

The same stuff that is otherwise used to make jam out of!

Not quite sure how you managed to connect Obama to this. Under the US separation of powers the president cannot interfere in judicial matters.

Arizona's dept of corrections govern all state prisons and Arpaio runs his county's prisons. If the civil rights of any of its prisoners are being jeopardized then the Federal Department of Justice must intervene to protect those rights. If this is "meddling" as has been suggested above, then remember that Arpaio has been successfully sued for MILLIONS of dollars for meddling in the affairs of others illegally.

Gopher,
You are right. But two wrongs don't make a right. The AG is after Joe after he (Holder was called a liar)was called out by Joe and got embarrassed. Why not call Joe out into the alley and settle it. Not Holder, He is hiding behind mommie Obama's skirts. His partici[pation in the "fast Guns" operation which he denied was his brain child to begin with.

Arpaio uses the courts to "justify" his actions. Therefore, it is fitting that the AG use those same courts to stop the abuse of people's Constitutional rights.
