And PP isn't eroding trust in those institutions, he's responding to the compete erosion of trust that already exists and is offering to restore it. If you want to blame someone for the erosion, look to the current gov't and the institutions themselves. THe BOC has nobody but the BOC to blame for the current lack of trust.
