Jay Leno Takes Paycut To Save Jobs

Jay never went into retirement he just took a 10:00 pm show that crashed and burned and asked for his former time spot back.
The network should have cut time off his show to make room for a better show he is just not that great anymore.
Agreed. Not too crazy about Leno but he seems to be a pretty decent guy. When it comes to late night im more of a Letterman person. Not that that means much I dont really watch any of them.
Leno got caught up in the NBC politics. He was caught up in forcing Carson to retire and stealing the show from Letterman. Then he got caught up in NBCs f-ucked up plans to save money on real programming by putting a talk show @ 10PM. Fail. Then he got caught up with NBC trying to put him back at 11:35 for a 1/2 hour show and pushing back Conan. Conan left. So whether he was behind all this or just NBC's darling son, who knows. But where there is smoke there is fire. And what is his pay cut? Down from $3 million to $2.8 million? Poor baby. Hard to get by with that.
During the Writer's Strike, Conan O'Brien paid out of his pocket to all his staff members who would not otherwise have gotten a cent while the strike was going on. That is also a case of class.
