They're all over Social Media, pointing their fingers and scolding anybody who says anything remotely outside of the PC Box.

How did this all happen? Who's to blame for this?

My brother told me he read a study which showed millennial male handshakes were weaker than their own Mother's.

A weak handshake at a job interview is the end...you're done.

It's like every single generation has an older generation that thinks younger generation not as good as they're generation.

I remember the '70's generation thought everyone from my generation were gay, girly men.

One of my bestest friends use to say that there was no good music after 1970.

My hubby agrees that this generation is quite unmannly.

I love change so I have no negatives about any generation except maybe the '70's cause they were quite mean and became known as the 'me' generation because of it.

I like millennials on the whole. I just can't understand how an entire generation has grown up being so defensive, and easily offended.

I guess I'm not covering any new ground here with this topic Header. But Twitter especially pisses me off these days with it's holier-than-thou attitude.

You're just stuck in a very simple paradox that the average person can recognize.

The curmudgeon fallacy:

FREE SPEECH!

STOP CRITICIZING ME!

Are you Millennial? Nearly everything you've criticized Millennials for you are doing in this thread. Gonna have to see that handshake just to be sure.

maybe you're right, mentalfloss,

Perhaps I've become that old guy shaking his fist and yelling, "Kids these days!!"

Corduroy,

At 51, I'm Gen X and my kids are Gen Z.

As long as you can fit whatever you believe into a utilitarian guideline, then you will have the upper hand.

That is to say, if you can show that millennials behave in such a way that can be objectively shown to cause harm, then you will be able to validate your philosophy by comparison.

Twitter? I've read about that somewhere. What's Twitter? Is it related to twerking?

Cordy,

There's a difference between whining and ranting. I think you're conflating the two.

Cordy,

I think you just always enjoy playing devil's advocate.

In fact, I'd go as far to say that you secretly agree with everything I've said on this thread...that you are infatuated with my every post...and that you're slowly falling in love with me! :)

Who's to blame? Look in the mirror. Majority of millennials were born to gen Xers. If they are "whiny", it's because of how they were raised.

I know, right? These days you can't even hold a woman down, slap her a coupla times, and f*ck her without her screaming "rape" and all.

One thing is sure. Snowflakes can't be masters of the universe. So get ready for The continued decline.
