Many a person has claimed to have sighted a Sasquatch (also known as Bigfoot) but did you know that if you hunt and kill one in British Columbia you could get in big trouble?
Though the province doesn’t precisely have an outright ban on killing the “animal”, apparently a former official proclaimed killing the Sasquatch is illegal. However, B.C. also has laws that forbid the unauthorized hunting and killing of wildlife.
The Wildlife Act of B.C. states that the government owns all wildlife and you can’t hunt it unless you get government permission.
Although it is hard to fathom how you could kill a mythical creature, it would nevertheless likely be considered wildlife and any person killing it without a license could face a fine of up to $250,000.
The mythical creature can be identified by its distinct characteristics, which include being very hairy, tall, human-like, and emitting an extremely foul odour.
Their means of communications are apparently grunts and whistles and they are said to sometimes howl at night. Perhaps they are also related to the mythological werewolf.
