The Arab-Israeli War of 1948 broke out when five Arab nations invaded territory in the former Palestinian mandate immediately following the announcement of the independence of the state of Israel on May 14, 1948. In 1947, and again on May 14, 1948, the United States had offered de facto recognition of the Israeli Provisional Government, but during the war, the United States maintained an arms embargo against all belligerents.

Nice try toad but propaganda is a long way from being a fact.

Your education starts at the 6:00 mark although the lead up is also going to zip your lips pretty solid. One of the more knowledgeable Jews out there which means you must hate him.

Colonel David Hackworth has stated that Arabs are the absolute worst fighters in the world. How did they overrun Europe and rape & pillage with so few shots fired then?
Yes it was a Larry King interview as I recall during Desert Storm. His comment was that if the Republican Guard experienced any resistance at all, they'd fall on their belly's and beg for mercy. Interestingly he said that the best fighting men in the world were the North Viet Namese. Yes Darkbunger the Arabs are puzzies.

I already did, your education starts at about the 6:00 mark. Now you get to debunk the General's son. I have to assume that if you could it already would have happened.

Nope, didn't disagree with what I posted, especially in the context that it was posted. You stated that no Arab state has invaded another. I showed how multiple Arab states tried, unsuccessfully, to invade another state more than once. What he says doesn't negate that fact. You stating that Iraq fought a "proxy" war on behalf of the U.S. does not take away the fact that Iraq invaded Iran. Iraq also invaded Kuwait, which precipitated the first Iraq war. Not to mention the impending invasion of Yemen by SA and Egypt.

Successfully or are you selective in what you actually read? Of course you are, that is a trait of the collective, even wannabes such as yourself.

I showed how multiple Arab states tried, unsuccessfully, to invade another state more than once.
In 1948 some 650,000 Arabs were expelled from their homes in Palestine. That was instigated by the Jews who had just arrived there, the Arab nations that got involved were coming to their assistance, that marked their actions defensive rather that aggressive. That aspect would be foreign to your collective as twisting facts is almost a specialty as the truth would make it pretty clear who was the 'invaders'. The 6 day war saw Israel take the first shots once again and the battles were not in Israel so again Arab nations did not invade your precious Israel. The rest is more of the same, Israel has always been the aggressor and shooting back is not classified as an invasion. No doubt you and the collective will promote that the Liberty deserved to be attacked as they were acting in an aggressive manner. You ever going to come clean that she was attacked because Israel decided to kill all the Egyptian soldier that had thrown up a white flag buy were slaughtered because Israel didn't want to use any of their forces guarding prisoners of war. Not very ****ing noble in my books but I'm sure you and the collective would call it 'great planning'.
You should learn when to leave some things alone, now I'm going to make you look as stupid as you actually are.

What he says doesn't negate that fact.
Sure it does, Miko lays it out that in every single case Israeli Jews were the aggressors and quite barbaric on top of that.

You stating that Iraq fought a "proxy" war on behalf of the U.S. does not take away the fact that Iraq invaded Iran. Iraq also invaded Kuwait, which precipitated the first Iraq war. Not to mention the impending invasion of Yemen by SA and Egypt.
Sure it does as they were acting as a military arm of the US. The chopper rescue saw the US get decimated rather than they 'forgot' to put on air cleaners in a desert environment. Inept rather than just stupid.

Saddam even cleared his move against Kuwait or should I bring up Albright'd comment about 'Arab affairs are not a concern of the US'. Good for you, now a lot of people can see that Israel does attempt to lie, not some of the time but all of the time. You should really leave their defense to the people they pay to do that.

And you wonder why they are losing the PR War.

It doesn't matter if Saddam "cleared" the Kuwait invasion with the u.s. or not. The fact is they invaded Kuwait. Now Saudi Arabia and Egypt are spinning up to invade Yemen.

What I have posted proves that the Arabs have invaded other Arab states and are willing to invade other Arab states even now. Contrary to your assertions.

As for the '48 war and the Yom Kippur war, both times independent Arab states invaded or tried to invade land that did not belong to them. There was no "defense". None of the "disputed" land was "owned" by any of the invading states.

Sure it does twit, it shows they were asking their handlers permission.

Did the US Really Give Saddam Fake OK to Invade Kuwait?
Twenty years ago there was a witch-hunt in Washington over why nobody had forecast that Saddam Hussein would invade and occupy Kuwait. A chief casualty of this was April Glaspie, the US ambassador in Baghdad, who had met for two hours with the Iraqi leader on 25 July 1990, a week before the invasion. During this meeting she was alleged to have “given a green light for the invasion” or at least not made clear that the US would use military force to reverse an Iraqi takeover of Kuwait.
Transcripts of varying levels of credibility have been released over the years, but this week WikiLeaks published Glaspie’s cable to the US State Department reporting her discussion with Saddam. What comes shining through is that the Iraqi leader never made clear that he was thinking of annexing the emirate as Iraq’s 19th province. Notorious though he was for his bloodcurdling and exaggerated threats, for once he was not threatening enough. Everybody suspected he was conducting a heavy-handed diplomatic offensive to squeeze concessions, financial and possibly territorial, out of the Kuwaitis. Almost nobody predicted a full-scale invasion and occupation of Kuwait, in large part because this was an amazingly foolish move by Saddam, bound to provoke a backlash far beyond Iraq’s power to resist.

Here is how morally sick the US actually is.

Hired guns aren't the bosses, keep it up as it just show how deceptive you and the collective are in order for your 'facts' to survive even a little investigation. What a sad little person you really are, I thought you should know that.

They were coming to the aid of fellow Arabs who did own the land, that is not an invasion as that indicates they were not making the first aggressive moves.
Go ahead dig the hole you are in even deeper. lol

Talk about a sucker for punishment, I have a lot more for you so don't run away and hide under mommy's skirt.

Wow, so, what you are basically saying is that the Arab states are under the americans thumb and do what they are told. The Arabs don't have the balls to make their own decisions and need to have others make those decisions for them. Sounds like a bunch of puzzies. Your kind of people. No wonder you defend them so much.

BTW, was Iraq an American puppet in '73? When exactly did the americans become the "power" in the ME and the ME countries become their puppets?

They were coming to the aid of fellow Arabs who did own the land, that is not an invasion as that indicates they were not making the first aggressive moves.
Go ahead dig the hole you are in even deeper. lol

No, they were invading an area that they had no claim to. Same with the Yom Kippur war. Egypt, Syria, and Iraq had no claim to Israel OR Palestine. Yet, they attacked another recognized sovereign nation. That puts a lie to your statement that Arab countries have not done the invading. Or did those 3 attack under American direction also?

Let see, 1953-1979 for Iran and then they got the boot. Afghanistan was in the late 70's via Jimmy Carter.

How Jimmy Carter and I Started the Mujahideen
Q: The former director of the CIA, Robert Gates, stated in his memoirs [“From the Shadows”], that American intelligence services began to aid the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan 6 months before the Soviet intervention. In this period you were the national security adviser to President Carter. You therefore played a role in this affair. Is that correct?
Brzezinski: Yes. According to the official version of history, CIA aid to the Mujahadeen began during 1980, that is to say, after the Soviet army invaded Afghanistan, 24 Dec 1979. But the reality, secretly guarded until now, is completely otherwise: Indeed, it was July 3, 1979 that President Carter signed the first directive for secret aid to the opponents of the pro-Soviet regime in Kabul. And that very day, I wrote a note to the president in which I explained to him that in my opinion this aid was going to induce a Soviet military intervention.
Q: Despite this risk, you were an advocate of this covert action. But perhaps you yourself desired this Soviet entry into war and looked to provoke it?
Brzezinski: It isn’t quite that. We didn’t push the Russians to intervene, but we knowingly increased the probability that they would.
Q: When the Soviets justified their intervention by asserting that they intended to fight against a secret involvement of the United States in Afghanistan, people didn’t believe them. However, there was a basis of truth. You don’t regret anything today?
Brzezinski: Regret what? That secret operation was an excellent idea. It had the effect of drawing the Russians into the Afghan trap and you want me to regret it? The day that the Soviets officially crossed the border, I wrote to President Carter: We now have the opportunity of giving to the USSR its Vietnam war. Indeed, for almost 10 years, Moscow had to carry on a war unsupportable by the government, a conflict that brought about the demoralization and finally the breakup of the Soviet empire.
Q: And neither do you regret having supported the Islamic [integrisme], having given arms and advice to future terrorists?
Brzezinski: What is most important to the history of the world? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some stirred-up Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?
Q: Some stirred-up Moslems? But it has been said and repeated: Islamic fundamentalism represents a world menace today.
Brzezinski: Nonsense! It is said that the West had a global policy in regard to Islam. That is stupid. There isn’t a global Islam. Look at Islam in a rational manner and without demagoguery or emotion. It is the leading religion of the world with 1.5 billion followers. But what is there in common among Saudi Arabian fundamentalism, moderate Morocco, Pakistan militarism, Egyptian pro-Western or Central Asian secularism? Nothing more than what unites the Christian countries.

The rest were bought off under threat, that about sums it up.

The Golan Heights were not Israeli territory, neither are they today. Are you saying Iraq invaded Syria because they didn't. Syria will again fly their flag over the Golan Heights as Israel will be too busy 'adjusting' to the 5M or so Arabs that enter under the right to return agreement that will be implemented. So much for a Jewish state. At least they will have time to get back to their religious roots and no they will not be inviting you or the local collective.

Nope, never said anything about Iraq invading Syria. Now, you tell me, how did Israel end up in possession of the Golan Heights.
