You're the one that threw out the idea in the first place, RCS; if you didn't want this to appear racist, then perhaps you should have changed the topic to reflect that.
If it wasn't discussion, then why did I pose questions to you that encouraged discussion and challenge your initial statement and not just a "YES!" to your flat out, erroneous statement that Islam is the only religion dragging humanity backwards?

But will flip the script: had I said that about Christianity, and gotten a similar response, I would have amended that to be extremists and not Christianity overall. Then continued on and use just extremists as my point.
So far, that hasn't happened on his end.
I've come to expect that. People (on both ends of the spectrum) these days see any correction, however factual and neutrally phrased, as an attack on All That's Good And Holy.
