It is all pretty much meaningless to me. My British heritage is just as meaningless. The Queen may be a lizard that eats children as David Ike says or she may just be an old bat whose crap don't stink. Who cares?

Quite so, Cliffy. As I have said before, if we didn’t have the monarchy today, I would oppose its introduction in Canada. But now that we already have it, I don’t see a good reason to get rid of it. I am indifferent to monarchy.
