Obama is reaching into the future, stealing our childrens money, and throwing it like confetti hoping somehow it will work. Pelosii and Obama are using the crisis as a giant social experiment, they have no idea what the hell they are doing. This is all one big blind faith mess of an attempt to turn America into a European style socialist nation and its utterly failing.

Obama is using "trickle down spending"...he is throwing BILLIONS at corporations and executives hoping it will all trickle down to you and I. . What a miserable failure

OBAMA. WORST. PRESIDENT. EVER.

What do you think

I think that you can't judge a president until their term is over.

I'd be tempted to say that a President who sends thousands of young men to be slaughtered in the jungles of Southeast Asia, for no good reason, would be far worse than a President who spends a lot of money trying to get a health care system.

You can always make more money, but it's hard to bring back the dead.

I think you have an incredibly short memory.

Obama would have to go very far to top the huge mess George Bush and Dick Cheney left for him to sort out.

They completely missed the ball on the 9/11 attacks (and claimed afterward they had no warning when there had been many warnings for months) resulting in the deaths of thousands of American civilians and many from other countries.

They fabricated a case for war in Iraq that proved to be totally false that has resulted in the deaths of thousands more Americans and the permanent disability of many thousands more. Dick Cheney turned the whole war in Iraq into a giant catering affair for a corporation he had very close ties to costing America $trillions$.

The economic breakdown of America came under Bushs' (lack of) watch and the $700 billion dollar bailout package for Wall Street was put together by Bush.

At the very least Obama is trying to spend tax dollars some place where it will do some good, in improving the health and welfare of a much wider spectrum of America than just the military or Wall Street like under Bush.

Bush left with the lowest approval rating since Nixon, the last president who figured he was above the law, Obama hasn't even come close to the arrogance or corruption of the administration that came before him.

They say that about every President, who was the most loved President is a better question in which U.S. Citizens would probably hail George Washington as their hero and then most likely Thomas Jefferson in second place...

the health care reforms is not gonna work at all my friend.
its just gonna take more money from us the citizens that pay taxes and It shows that the reforms won't fundamentally change the runaway pace of US health spending including both public and private-sector dollars. With or without reform, the overall US medical bill will account for about 21 percent of gross domestic product in 2019, or 3 percentage points higher than today, according to a recent analysis done within the Health and Human Services Department. so this is just a wack reform thats just gonna hurt our country BAD!

Exactly. The G Dumbya administration, Nixon's administration, just who were Zachary Taylor, William Harrison, anyway? Hoover aggravated the Great Depression and caused trade wars. You want to discuss the graft and corruption under Grant? Tyler, Buchanan, and Fillmore, the slavers? Harding, who ignored that his pals were raiding the US treasury?

Obama's only been around for a bit more than a year and sombraa wants to judge him already? lol laughable

Opinion. There are lots of them.

Obama isn't finished working on stuff for one thing. For another, most enactments take some fine tuning after a while anyway. Even the Constitution has AMENDMENTS.

This is a good point. It's hard for me to believe that any President other than George W. Bush is the worst President ever.

I just shake my head at Americans who are trying to claim it's Obama who is going to bring America down.

Hate to burst your bubble but the nation is already in deep crisis which is why the Republicans got the heave ho from both the White House and Congress.

Personally I think the ones who are criticizing Obama the most are the ones who deep down want to see the whole Union fall apart.

Now don't get me wrong. As a somewhat informed political science major, I have to say that I hate US Presidents. It's not a matter of IF one's good or bad, but rather HOW BAD one is going to be.

I'm convinced that a human being can't have the power and prestigue that the POTUS has and not be corrupted by it.

The Executive Branch is my least favorite branch of the US government. I really only think about it because I have to. Gah...

Obama is the best president The U.S has had in years ..Who is the alternative?...I am tired of all the right wing B.S. talk , from the very people who ran U.S. into the ground over and over again.. The truth will set you free, war mongers / gun totin red necks.. ...

There are problem makers and problems solvers...Some like to pick and pull everything apart .Real leaders find solutions and take and make action .Take the pieces , pull it / put it back together..IN 1 Greater Peace..Without using War / Fear or Hate as an end..

Who is the alternative ? ..What is their platform ?.. What will they do for their country?... What is your solution ? ..Who would you choose to be the next president ?..I would choose , Bill Gates ... Richard Branson....But Obama fits the role well...

Obama seems to be a man of peace.Good intention ..More recently ..Action... A good family man/leader/president .. ..He was elected by " The People"(mostly, with backing interests, of course ..like all ).. ..to represent His/Their Democratic , 1st world , country ...

I am generally with those who say there is alot of b.s ..(Mostly , B.S.) and theatre in Politics/politicians ..But Obama has been the truest/ most honest /trusted representive /President I have seen in years.. Perhaps ever...

Obama is a great president

Peace or Pieces?

Peace...

A few years ago, the Discovery Channel held a contest where Americans got to vote on who the "Best American" was. The final five choices were 1. Benjamin Franklin. 2. Martin Luther King Jr. 3. George Washington. 4. Ronald Reagan. 5. Abraham Lincoln.

I'll give you five choices to guess who won.

Exactly how is blaming Bush and the Republicans justification for Obama throwing gasoline on an already raging fire?

Obama took the job knowing full well what was in store; he's taking some huge risks that can (potentially) have huge ramifications if things don't go as planned.

Then he should fix whatever he does that is a mistake right? Did Bush? No. He made a mess and didn't even try to correct any of it.
Besides, people are blaming Obama for the fire that Bush set. That's just wrong.

Wouldn't be Martin Luther King Jr. because BET does not host Discovery Channel, and Wouldn't be Ronald Reagan because he never did anything but play Star Wars, so he's out.

Now we are down to the top three, wouldn't be Benjamin Franklin because all he did was approve everything that came accross his eyes and pen.

So, it's between George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and knowing that George Washington is so highly regarded they would probably get smart and vote in favour of Abraham Lincoln because knowing the discovery channel they like to make a point so they chose Abraham Lincoln for his role in equal rights which is the greatest thing America has, am I correct?

Seriously, I remember having a conversation with friends where we thought what it would be like if we amended the US Constitution to do away with the Executive Branch of the federal government.

This isn't about Bush... It's about Obama, his promises, "Yes We Can", etc..

Obama DID understand the mess that Bush left and vowed to correct the situation.. Has he?.. No, in fact, one could make the argument that it's getting worse.
