Good point cliffy.
Many of the regular posters should start shaking heads.

Some were open minded at one time but their minds fell out.

Obama is a Wall Street fascist puppet. What harm could possibly come from Wall Street?

Hither and yon
I agree Cliffy; they are a small, frustrated minority in Canada. Even their Messiah, Harper had to move to the centre right in order to win power.

However, they are in a majority in this forum and they make plenty of noise here. Personally if I were a right winger in Canada, I would move to USA. USA is just the right place for all kind of loony right wing nuts, in spite of the election of Obama.

But as I said before, they do serve a useful purpose. If I see them not criticizing Obama on any issue, I would know that Obama is wrong on that particular issue. Thus when I saw them criticize Obama for going on a date with Michelle, I knew that it was just the right thing to do.

Isn't it a little high handed to presume to advise people where they should or should not live?
Particularly if it is because they do not fit into a specific little box or political viewpoint that you individually have decided to espouse.

Do you think it is appropriate, for example, to insinuate that left wing moonbats
on this forum should be shipped off to socialist paradise's like Cuba to sped a few years cutting cane in a peoples work camp?

Possibly it would be more fruitful to spend more time defining yourself as versus trying to define others?

Debate and discussion is what its all about, isn't it?

"I think the left wing is pretty nutty too. I think anybody who takes politics seriously needs to give their head a shake."

And who could be nuttier than SirJosephPorter?

His inane generalizings. His equally inane exeggerations. His even more inane attempts at humour such as calling the duly elected Prime Minister of our country - disparagingly and disrespectfully - the "Messiah".

Or how about his sanctimonious lectures. Or his totally misguided opinions and shameless name-callings of about anything and anybody on the right of Joe Stalin.

Or how about his obsession about any and all conservative/Republican shortcomings, but giving wide pass to all liberals/DemocRATS for doing the same.

Or how about his ignoring the latest poll in the U.S. which showed that conservatives outnumber liberal 2 to 1. Totally the opposite in numbers on this forum, where liberal outnumber conservatives by about the same ratio.

Too bad politics is merely for entertainment purposes. Hollywood falls a far second to Wall Street when it comes to producing what you see on screen and print but it effects and mandates your entire life.

Obama's gutless fence-sitting about the disputed Iranian elections is totally consistent with his countless, gutless and typically spineless "PRESENT" votes in the Illinois State Senate and the United States Senate.

And just exactly where did I say that, Trex (where did I tell anybody where they should live)?

Yukon Jack, is that the same poll which showed an approval rating for Obama at 63%, approval rating for Democratic Party around 45% (I don’t remember the exact figure), and Republican Party approval at 28% (significantly lower than the Democratic Party)?

That is all politics is Petros, entertainment. It makes for a great discussion.

Did oyu see Yukon, Pat Buchanan agrees with Obama on his Iran policy? I would never have thought Buchanan to have so much sense.

Don't worry Yukon. Iran and the12ers who run the show through out the Mid East and the Fundies in the West don't expect Canada to be part of the "game" to accelerate the Mahdi and the return of Jesus but the fascist are manipulating the 12ers and the Fundies to bring about the chaos required to bring change and a New World Order.

This has nothing to do with Christian Muzzie or Heeb. It's about disposing of large masses and people to reduce resource consumption and take global control of said resources.

It's global communism you are pushing when you push for this bull**** scheme of pitting schmuck against schmuck thinking it is the "End Times".

The real goal is to phase in a post war one world religion which includes the earth as the "Mother Goddess".

Doubt it? Check out the bookstore kid's section and read some of the "green themed" books preaching the earth is a god that gives us life blah blah blah.

By 2020 when today's "green kids" hit the chairs of boardroom and become educators and policy makers we'll see "change" like we've never seen before.

No it is not, but the approval rating of Obama is sinking like a rock. It is at 56%.

Honeymoon is over, or darn near over.

All as planned. If you read above it is all part of the "global economic and power restructuring" involved in the NWO

Who could be nuttier than someone who claims that Chris Matthews of MSNBC is a Republican?

Who could be nuttier than one who clains that Jack Cafferty of CNN is a Republican?

Who could be nuttier than one who claims that the Drudge Report is a right wing, Republican/conservative publication?

A prominent poster on these forums claimed all of these things.

Can you guess who??

You wish Yukon, you wish. No doubt you are looking at Rasmussen poll (did you know that Rasmussen worked for a while for worldnetdaily?). This is the same Rasmussen who claimed that Obama McCain race was a statistical dead heat 3 or 4 days before election. Indeed, he is so partisan that I am surprised he still shows support for Obama at 56%. But I suppose if he showed it at 36% or 26%, even the far right base may have difficulty believing him.

Anyway, this is the poll you won’t want to see, one published on CNN. Obama approval at 63%, Democratic Party at 45%, R4pulbican Party at 28%. Approval of Republicans is at an al time low.

Anyway, you have already predicted that Republicans are going to capture House and Senate in 2010 and win the presidency in 2012. I am going to hold you to your predictions.

Yukon, I think both of them were Republicans at one point.

Sure Drudge is a right wing nut. Show me even one item he has published in all these years that was favorable to Democratic Party and damaging to Republican Party. He is one of the most loyal Republican supporters around (perhaps next only the drug addict on loan from God, Rush Limbaugh).

MSNBC is a GE company. GE is a MAJOR arms producer and is indeed one of the Reps biggest supporters.

CNN is a CIA propaganda machine created by Republicans.

Drudge and the rest not matter the so called "side" all get brownie points from CIA in the form of high end advertisers to propagate the propaganda.

Obama Job Approval Slips to 58% for First Time

Lowest reading for Obama thus far in Gallup Poll Daily tracking

by Lydia Saad

PRINCETON, NJ -- President Barack Obama's job approval rating fell to 58% in Gallup Poll Daily tracking from June 16-18 -- a new low for Obama in Gallup tracking, although not dissimilar to the 59% he has received on four other occasions.
Thirty-three percent of Americans now disapprove of the job Obama is doing as president, just one point shy of his record-high 34% disapproval score from early June.
Since Obama took office in January, his approval rating in Gallup tracking has averaged 63%, and most of his three-day ratings have registered above 60%. Approval of Obama did fall to 59% in individual readings in February, March, April, and early June; however, in each case, the rating lasted only a day before rebounding to at least 60%.
The latest decline in Obama's approval score, to 58%, results from a drop in approval among political independents as well as among Republicans. Democrats remain as highly supportive of the president as ever.
Obama's approval rating was 60% from June 13-15, at which time 88% of Democrats, 60% of independents, and 25% of Republicans approved of the job he was doing. In the June 16-18 polling, Democrats' approval of him stands at 92% -- up slightly -- whereas approval is down among both independents (by seven points) and Republicans (by four points).
Bottom Line
Since February, Obama's weekly approval ratings from Republicans have consistently averaged close to 30% and from independents, close to 60%. With Republican approval now down to 21% and independent approval down to 53%, Obama's overall job approval has dipped to a new low for his presidency.
It is not clear what's behind the decline, but two issues have received considerable play in the news this week, and could be contributing factors. On Monday, the president received bad news on healthcare reform from the Congressional Budget Office, whose estimate of the cost of one reform plan caused sticker shock on Capitol Hill. This may be feeding into public concerns about the administration's deficit spending. At the same time, the disputed Iranian presidential election has been front-page news. Obama's cautious response has sparked sharp criticism from Republican Sen. John McCain and many on the political right who are eager for him to declare the election a "fraud," and to show more solidarity with the Iranian protestors.
Survey Methods
Results are based on telephone interviews with 1,504 national adults, aged 18 and older, conducted June 16-18, 2009, as part of Gallup Poll Daily tracking. For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the maximum margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points.
Interviews are conducted with respondents on land-line telephones (for respondents with a land-line telephone) and cellular phones (for respondents who are cell-phone only).
In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls.

petros, MSNBC is totally beholden to Obama, saying that it - or its parent company, GE - is a major supporter of Republicans is bordering on the blindly insane.

CNN was founded by Ted Turner, a raging liberal Democrat, - former husband of the worst anti-American in rcent memory, the modern day Tokio Rose, Hanoi Jane Fonda, - if there ever was one.

Matt Drudge, as a person, maybe conservative, but the Drudge Report is nothing more, nothing less than a collection of links to all kinds of publications, roughly evenly balanced between liberal and conservative. Matt Drudge hardly ever publishes anything of his own in The Drudge Report. Again, only a blindly insane person could doubt and/or debate this.
